Olympic 10m Rifle and Pistol Airgun Enthusiast Site
Promoting excellence in Olympic 10m shooting
Target Track is dedicated to promoting and supporting the incredible sport of 10m air pistol and rifle shooting. It's my contribution to making this precision sport accessible to everyone, regardless of age, gender, or background.
What makes this sport truly special is its unique blend of physical precision and mental fortitude. Unlike many other sports, 10m shooting creates an even playing field where athletes of all ages and genders compete side by side.
In addition to serving as a resource for the technical aspects of the sport, I made this site to showcase how this sport develops not just marksmanship skills, but also mental resilience, focus, and self-discipline. These qualities extend far beyond the shooting range, benefiting athletes in all aspects of their lives.
Target Track was born from my personal experience and interest in the sport. In December 2024, recovering from a sport-related injury and looking for a replacement sport, I was reminded of the buzz around Olympic shooting at the previous olympics. Looking up ranges near me, I booked a drop in session at the Richmond Rod and Gun Club in British Columbia and picked up a gun for the first time in my life. Though it's only been a short time, I was thoroughly impressed by the international-level coaching and the caliber of the athletes (especially the juniors) at the range.
As a newcomer to the sport, I found myself scouring the internet looking for resources and found that it was actually a lot of work to really understand the details of the sport, the equipment, and the process of starting as a beginner to becoming an olympic level athlete. So I thought, why not make one myself?
At the end of the day my goal is not just to gather information, but to build a platform that connects athletes, shares experiences, and helps everyone in their competitive journey.
